Rabbi Moshe Rudenstein

Rabbi Moshe Rudenstein is a widely known mechanech in South Florida with twenty years of experience in Jewish education, spanning both chinuch and kiruv. He is the founding principal of Ohr HaTorah Middle School in Hollywood, FL, where he oversees the spiritual and educational development of the talmidim.

Throughout his career, Rabbi Rudenstein has been dedicated to helping each student discover an approach to learning that enables them to succeed. His educational philosophy emphasizes building meaningful connections to Torah, Yiddishkeit, and personal growth while preparing students academically, socially, and spiritually for high school and beyond.

Prior to working at Ohr HaTorah, he was a middle school Rebbe at Brauser Maimonides Academy in Hollywood, Florida, and at Caskey Torah Academy in Philadelphia, PA, where he developed innovative curricula and educational programs designed to foster greater student engagement and enthusiasm for Torah learning.

Earlier in his career, Rabbi Rudenstein served as Executive Director of Meor at Temple University and as Meor Director of Advanced Studies at the University of Pennsylvania. In these roles, he taught university-level courses, organized educational events and Shabbatons, and led student trips to Israel and Poland, helping inspire Jewish identity and leadership among college students.

Rabbi Rudenstein earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Massachusetts and received semicha from Ateres Yisroel Rabbinical College in Israel. He is a Responsive Classroom–certified educator and holds a certificate from the Mercaz Teacher Training Program. He lives in Hollywood, Florida, with his wife and their four children.
