Application Process

Steps for application:

Applications will be reviewed and considered once all the necessary steps have been completed.

Steps of the application process at Ohr Hatorah Yeshiva High School:

  • Create a FACTS Account
  • Submit application along with report cards, $300 application fee and recommendation requests.
  • OHR HaTorah will review your application and will typically call you within 2 weeks to schedule an interview.
  • OHR HaTorah will evaluate applications, academic record, interview and exam scores. OHR HaTorah will then alert you via email with updates regarding acceptance or waitlist.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Standard application information
  • 7th & 8th Grade report cards
  • Standardized exam result report
  • Recent photo of student applicant
  • 3x recommendation letters:
    • Current Rebbe
    • General Studies Principal
    • Judaic Principal

APPLICATION FEES:

  • Early Bird (Before December 15, 2024) $200
  • Standard Application fee $300

NEXT STEPS

  • Once complete, applications are reviewed by administration.
  • Prospective applicants are scheduled for an interview.
    • The interview takes approximately 45 minutes. 
    • Applicants meet with Rabbi Grajower for a discussion and Gemara Farher.
      • Details of preparation material will be provided in advance.
    • Applicants then meet with Mrs. Shuker for a General Studies Assessment.

ACCEPTED APPLICANTS

  • Once accepted, a registration fee of $750 is due.
    • Your son’s spot is not reserved until receive the registration fee But under once accepted a registration fee of $750 is due.

TUITION FOR THE 2025-2026 ACADEMIC YEAR

  • The tuition for the upcoming will be posted shortly
    • We accept all state scholarships including: 
      • Step Up For Students
      • Gardiner
      • AAA
  • Transportation is available and partially subsidized by the school.
  • Our Incoming 9th Grade class will be limited to 30 Students.

TUITION FOR THE 2024-2025 ACADEMIC YEAR

  • Tuition for the upcoming school year is $19,600 
    • We accept all state scholarships including: 
      • Step Up For Students
      • Gardiner
